What is an OCI connection?

An OCI (Open Catalog Interface) or punchout connection ensures that you have direct access from your procurement environment to a supplier's webshop. When an order is placed in the punchout webshop, it is automatically assigned a unique reference. You select products as you normally would, but the order is automatically sent back – including price, product information, and delivery details. Subsequently, Qobee sends an electronic purchase order – for example via cXML or OCI – directly to the supplier. The supplier receives the order completely digitally and can immediately integrate it into their own webshop or back-office system. Thanks to this digital process, the entire ordering procedure is not only handled quickly and accurately but is also fully traceable, significantly increasing efficiency on both sides.
