ILVO is aiming for greater efficiency in its financial and procurement processes
ILVO is a research institute and service organization of the Flemish government. Through the implementation of the Qobee platform, it optimizes its accounting system and procurement process, allowing the organization to work more efficiently.

Specific needs

ILVO, a scientific research institute and service organisation of the Flemish government, began searching for a new accounting system in 2016. ‘We had specific requirements for our new accounting system, such as a number of specific VAT codes for domestic and international transactions. Through Anchr's software, this could be configured very flexibly,’ explains Katrien De Bruyn, Financial Coordinator at ILVO. ‘The possibility of dimensions in the context of analytical accounting was also very attractive in the package.'

Seamless implementation

In 2022, after a thorough impact analysis, ILVO fully transitioned to Qobee. ‘The features included in the previous financial package of Qobee, which were initial requirements for ILVO, are also present in the new package,’ notes Katrien. ‘Qobee supplied, installed, and customised the software at ILVO for the financial management of our various departments and brought everything smoothly into production.’

Furthermore, ILVO wanted to optimise its procurement process. In 2020, Purchase to Pay was implemented in two departments within ILVO. ‘Thanks to the software, the procurement process runs much more smoothly, saving us time and money,’ says Katrien. The rollout to the other three departments within ILVO was completed in 2023.  

Thanks to the implementation, we are up-to-date and enjoying the latest features. It sometimes requires an adaptation in your operation, but each time you see that it's worth it and you can work more smoothly.

Qobee ensures that IlVO can work more efficiently and effectively, reduce its costs, and optimise its financial processes. Katrien also affirms: 'Thanks to the implementation, we are up-to-date and enjoy the latest features.
