Bourrelier Group processes incoming invoices with Qobee

Bourrelier Group manually processed its incoming invoices. “When an invoice was received from a supplier, our administration would print it, stamp it, scan it, and then manually assign it to a booking,” explains Yann Le Teno, Finance Manager at Bourrelier Group. “We wanted to digitise this process so that invoices would arrive digitally and be matched and processed automatically.” 

Bourrelier Group and Anchr are no strangers to each other. ‘We have been using Qobee (formerly known as Anchr Financials) for the bookkeeping of our DIY stores in the Netherlands and Belgium for many years,’ says Yann Le Teno. ‘We also rely on Anchr for our cash register solutions’.  

‘When Bourrelier Group indicated that they wanted to digitise and optimise the accounts payable process, we had the ideal solution available,’ explains Michel Petrusma, Sales Director Netherlands at Anchr. ‘The current accounting system of Bourrelier Group, Qobee, was integrated with the digital invoice processing platform of Factuurportal. It ensures that invoices are delivered digitally, and Qobee makes it possible for the delivered invoices to be easily booked and digitally approved. ‘Anchr ensured that everything was aligned and that both systems work in excellent synergy,’ highlights Yann Le Teno.  

Bourrelier Group, specialist in DIY, a French publicly listed company active in Belgium and the Netherlands, is specialized in do-it-yourself products, building materials and supplies, and home furnishing. The company manages various retail chains. As a franchisee of Intergamma, it operates the chains Karwei and Gamma in the Netherlands and Belgium. The group has diversified its activities over the past few years. For example, it became the majority shareholder of Pierre Properties Hôtels (PPH), a company managing real estate (properties and business goodwill). In 2020, the group acquired MAVIC, one of the jewels in the crown of the French industry, specialized in bicycles.
